Shark Rocket DuoClean HV382 - Best Corded Stick VacuumRecently someone asked me, “What is the best corded stick vacuum on the market”?

As I think the answer will benefit many people searching for stick vacuum cleaners that are not cordless, I decided to post my reply here at ShowHomeStyle.com.

Getting straight to the point, the best corded stick vacuum cleaner is the Shark DuoClean Rocket HV382.

In fact, the Shark Corded Stick Vacuum HV382 is one of our top rated vacuum cleaners 2020.

It’s lightweight (9.9 pounds), easy to use, and comes with all the tools and accessories for efficiently doing any cleaning tasks around your home or in your car that you need to tackle.

(#1) Shark DuoClean Rocket HV382

Shark HV382 RocketThe Shark DuoClean Rocket HV382 stick is ultra-lightweight at just under ten pounds and pulls itself along with little effort.

It’s easy to convert into a hand tool and has two brush rolls (DuoClean Technology). One is a sturdy bristle brush to deep-clean carpets and the other is a soft brush roll to remove larger particles and sweep hard floors whilst working in unison.  It even removes particles that have become stuck.

Powerful LED lights on the nozzle allow you to see hidden dirt and the versatile and ultra-lightweight (4.6 pounds) hand vac makes it easy to maneuver when cleaning upholstery and above-floor surfaces.

The DuoClean brush roll is easily accessible for cleaning and the wall-mount storage hook makes it easy to store away safely in a small space.

Some Customer Reviews About The HV382

“The suction is exceptional for carpets and excellent on hardwood floors. When used at the highest level it does suck up smaller rugs so the lower level works better. The only issue is that the roller brush needs to be cleaned often as it gets clogged with dog hair and the cup is small.”

So, if you have heavy shedding pets, I would recommend the full size upright Shark NV752 TruePet.

“It is lightweight and self-propelled which reduces the strain of trying to push a heavy vacuum over a carpet.”

“It does an incredible job at vacuuming floors with a soft brush that spins and swipes up all the dust and small particles of debris, at the same time buffing the floor to a nice shine. Even the linoleum floor in my kitchen comes up clean and shining with just one quick pass over it with the Shark Rocket HV382.”

“It’s so easy to switch from cleaning carpets to hardwood floors and it easily converts into a hand vac. The different tools make it easy to pick up dust, crumbs, and cobwebs as you go along and they easily clip onto the vacuum for easy access.”

“It’s super easy to use on stairs and the long cord means you can clean more space without having to change power points.”

“The motor is quieter than most other corded stick models.”

“One problem is that the sprocket that holds the roller brush in place wraps hair and thread around itself and it does not come off – making it difficult to clean.”

You will have to regularly remove the roller brushes to keep them clean if you are vacuuming areas with a lot of lose hair. They are very easy to remove and maintain with the flick of a switch.

(#2) Eureka Blaze 3-In-1 NES210

The corded Eureka Blaze 3-in-1 is a highly customizable vacuum that is perfect for all your cleaning requirements.

In fact, you can convert the NES210 from a hand vacuum to a stair vacuum, to a stick vacuum, and back again.

The eighteen-feet power cord allows you to clean a larger area in your home without having to hop for outlets. The capture nozzle of the NES210 stick will suck even the largest particles of debris without any problem.

The swivel steering feature helps improve the efficiency and maneuverability of your cleaning tasks over carpet and hard floors. That is why the Eureka Blaze 3-In-1 is considered one of the best corded stick vacuums on the market today.

The Eureka Blaze comes with a washable filter that is permanent and a removable dust cup. It’s best used as a stick vac when doing normal household cleaning. Whether you have a hardwood floor, low-pile carpet, area rug or any other surface, the Eureka Blaze is the ideal solution to clean them quickly and easily.

The detachable hand vacuum is best used for cleaning above floors and in your car or pet bedding. In fact, you can vacuum any type of furniture with the hand vacuum.

On the other hand, the crevice tool is ideal for cleaning hard-to-reach areas in your home. Whether you need to clean between the cushions of the couch or under the seats in your car, you can use this feature to save a lot of time in the process.

Many customers have reviewed the product positively. Most of them liked the suction power of the 2 amp motor compared to its size.

It is extremely lightweight at 4 pounds and picks up everything on the floor without any problem.

Some customers have said that they preferred the cord longer, however 18 feet is usually long enough for most rooms. If you need extra length, consider getting this 50 foot extension cord.

All in all, Eureka Blaze 3-In-1 corded stick vacuum cleaner offers great value for your money.

(#3) Dibea 2 in 1 Corded Stick SC4588

You might have noticed that the Dibea SC4588 looks very similar in design to the Dyson. I think it looks great!

For those who want the versatility of a stick type vacuum cleaner, but don’t want to wait around while a battery to charge each time they need to clean more than 1 or 2 rooms, then the Dibea 2 in 1 corded stick is just what the doctor ordered.

One of the great attractions of this vacuum is the HEPA technology that is used. This makes it ideal for the cleaning of hardwood and tile, as well as thin pile carpets where animals and pets have been.

The HEPA filter also reduces the amount of bacteria and other microorganisms in the air making the unit ideal for households where people have pet allergies – as well as households with kids.

The job is made that much easier due to the powerful 600w motor. This is a stick vacuum that will easily deal with pet hair on upholstery, cars, stairs, beds and a number of other surfaces – it’s actually powerful enough to pick up cat litter which should give an indication of just what can be accomplished by homeowners who choose to purchase this unit.

It also has swivel steering and ergonomic design which compliments the 4.6 lbs ultra lightweight design making it even easier to operate.

The addition of a crevice tool is a handy one to allow those who purchase the Dibea SC4588 to access those hard to reach places such as under furniture and tight corners.

Speaking of hard to reach places – the addition of an LED light makes it extremely easy to reach and illuminate those areas for better cleaning.

Customers praised the unit’s light weight, as well as the 15kpa suction power.

Some problems that consumers had were that the power cable was too short for their needs and that the vacuum lacked a brush which made it a little more difficult to handle pet hair on upholstery and short pile carpeting.

Hopefully this isn’t a deal breaker for the great price, which is usually under $75. If you need the extra brush power, go for the Shark DuoClean HV382. For more of our best vacuum reviews, visit: Show Home Style.

(#4) Bissell Featherweight Corded Stick

If you want the perfect combination of stick vacuum cleaner and hand held, then the Bissell Featherweight stick might be just what you are looking for.

Although it doesn’t boast the power of some of the better corded stick type vacuum cleaners such as the Shark DuoClean Rocket HV382,  it is perfect for those lightweight cleaning jobs around the house – such as cleaning upholstery and dealing with pet hair. It is very well priced too, usually under $40. Superb value!

The detachable stick also means that it can be used as a hand vac for cleaning those harder to reach places. It even boasts a crevice tool to make getting to those nooks and crannies even easier.

This two for the price of one feature makes the Bissell Featherweight extremely versatile – and as I mentioned earlier, it comes at a very wallet friendly price point as well.

It is extremely lightweight (2.6lbs)  – which goes some way to making up for that lack of power. Being almost half the weight of the other corded sticks, it’s very easy to use and store.

The Featherweight is ideal for cleaning hardwood floors where the lighter weight helps you prevent damaging the wood. It is also fantastic for stairs and carpets with a shorter pile.

The 15 foot power cord is more than sufficient for a stick vacuum like this. It simply is not designed for heavyweight work so that length should give users all the flexibility that they need.

Customers who own the Bissell Featherweight were impressed by the low noise level of this corded stick vacuum cleaner and rated it extremely highly for the lighter vacuuming tasks around the home such as cleaning up pet hair extremely efficiently.

Although the power of the unit has been brought into question there were very few reviews by consumers that mentioned this fact. More important was the ease of use and the fact that the filter is extremely easy to clean and it does the job as advertised. It really is a great little dust buster for the price!

(#5) Hoover Linx Cyclonic Corded Stick SH20030

The Hoover Linx SH20030 is an upright vacuum that weighs just 10 pounds.

It has a powerful cyclonic motor to deep clean carpets and other types of floors. This lightweight vacuum is ideal for apartments and small houses with hard floors as its features non-marring wheels.

The swivel steering feature helps easily maneuver the Linx SH20030 to clean hard-to-reach areas without any problem. The vacuum also has a low profile and is easy to store.

With its extreme recline handle, you won’t have any issue reaching under furniture or other tricky spots in your home.

Many people think that due to the low profile, the Hoover SH20030 is not as powerful as some of the bigger machines on the market. But they are wrong.

Hoover has done a great job in designing this compact vacuum with a powerful 220 watt motor. It uses the same WindTunnel Technology as the full-size uprights in order to deep clean any carpeted surface in your home.

The Hoover Linx also comes with multi-cyclonic suction that puts more dust and dirt into the bagless container and keeps your filters clean for a longer time. This also helps prevent the loss of suction.

This 20 foot corded Hoover Linx is a stick vacuum with a small but easy to empty dustbin. You just need to push a single button to open the lid.

The cylindrical container has a capacity of approximately one quart. The motor has an input power of 220 watts (2 amps). But the motor is very effective compared to most of the other compact stick vacuums on the market. The Linx SH20030 comes with a 2-year limited warranty.

Many customers have rated the SH20030 Linx with five stars. In fact, the majority of these people enjoy that the product is lightweight but powerful. It is easy to set-up and could be done in two minutes. The head of the vacuum is designed so that it can easily slide under beds and other furniture.
